Network Development Plan (NDP)

The Network Development Plan (NDP) represents the second step in the network investment planning process, which uses forecasts to analyse and identify future network constraints. The purpose of the NDP is to outline how National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) expect to develop our network over the next 10 year period. As part of the NDP process, network headroom reports are created, which include expected headroom per substation out to 2050. These are available below.
